Satisfaction Guarantee?

We have a 100% customer satisfaction policy. All our sprouts and wheatgrass are guaranteed to stay fresh for 10 days in the fridge. It is recommended that they be consumed within the first 7-10 days for optimum freshness. The “best by” date on the package is always 10 days from the harvest date.

What are your hours of operation?

We are open to take your orders 24 hours a day. All orders must be placed by 5am for same day delivery.

How many times do you cut your wheatgrass?

Always one cut/harvest. Wheatgrass nutrition drops off dramatically for the second growth. Never buy from a grower that harvests more than once per tray. If a grower has harvested before, the tops of the grass will be flat rather than pointy.

What is the advantage of creating an account?

An account will let you see any previous orders and allow you to manage/create subscriptions.

Do I need to create an account to create a subscription?

Yes, It is required that you have an account to create a subscription.

Can I create subscriptions for items that are not Greenhouse grown?

No, subscriptions can only be created for fresh cut sprouts and wheatgrass.

What is the latest I can place an order, change my order, or make adjustments to a subscription?

Orders can be placed and changes/adjustments can be made until 5am Eastern Time. All orders are fresh cut within 24 hours of delivery.

How Do I know when my order is dropped off to the HUB selected?

When you place your order you see the day and approximate time we expect to have your order dropped off. Since actual drop-off times can vary due to number of reasons- we will email you letting you know as soon as your order has been dropped off. We take out the guesswork for you.

Can I order by phone?

No, all orders must be placed online. If you are having problems or have additional questions you can call or email us and we will call you back and walk you through the process.

How Do I Pay?

Secure payments by PayPal. All major credit cards are accepted. No PayPal account is needed to order or create subscriptions.

Does Wheatgrass Depot keep customers’ Credit Card information?

No, all transactions are done using PayPal's secured processing and Wheatgrass Depot never stores any customers’ credit card info. You don't even need a PayPal account to enjoy the benefits of this added security.

What days do you ship product?

We ship product out Mon-Thursday.

How do I store my sprouts and wheatgrass?

All Sprouts and Wheatgrass should be stored in the fridge like any other vegetable. Vegetable crisper drawer is preferred and Debbie Meyer (Green Bags) can increase product shelf life.

Do I need to wash my sprouts and wheatgrass prior to use?

It is optional, all our sprouts are tested for E.coli and Salmonella prior to delivery but it is always a good idea to wash the sprouts you intend to use. We recommend only washing your sprouts/wheatgrass you intend to eat right away- Excess water left on the product can lead to spoilage.

Why is shipping so expensive?

We ship a perishable product that requires refrigerated packaging (gel packs and thermal wrap). These items are expensive yet necessary, and their costs cannot be absorbed by our small company. The total cost for shipping to you is a combination of packaging costs and UPS charges. Picking up your orders from one of our HUBs is the best way to save money. Since we are able to deliver multiple orders to a single HUB location we are able to absorb the delivery/shipping cost and you pay only for your product.

Are your sprouts and seeds Organic and Non-GMO?

Yes. Absolutely all sprouts and seeds are 100% USDA certified organic and grown in an organic soil as well.

Can a certified organic product contain GMO (genetically modified Organism)?

No, Absolutely no GMO. The very term certified organic means by definition it has not been genetically modified in any way.

How long do I have to pick-up my order from the HUB?

You have two days. The day the product is dropped off until close of business that day and the entire next day during the HUB's regular business hours. If your order is not picked up during that time the order is considered abandoned and the HUB can use or give away the order. This policy is necessary since the HUBs are allowing us to use their cooler space for our customers' orders and we don't want to abuse their kindness. Should you find yourself unable to pick-up your order please email Wheatgrass Depot and we will do our best to assist you. Please DO NOT contact the HUB directly to make personal arrangements.

I live very close to you. Can I just pick up my order at your place of business?

Unfortunately, no. We are not a walk-in retail establishment. Retail establishments carry different insurance liabilities. You can purchase our products online and pick-up locally at one of our convenient HUB locations.

Do you ship uncut trays?

No, we do not. If you are interested in ordering wheatgrass trays for local delivery please send us an email. Wheatgrass orders for floral use must be placed at least two weeks in advance of your required date. Special orders can be grown Hydroponically for special events like weddings, bar displays, holiday displays, etc. Typically we only grow hydroponically for special orders since we strongly feel soil is a vital component for producing the highest quality product for human consumption.
